Case 3

Twenty-six-year-old male with 20 congenitally missing permanent teeth, bimaxillary retrognathism,
deep bite, cross-bite, abnormal attrition of especially central incisors and atrophy of the alveolar process in the lower incisor region
The patient has been followed for five years

Treatment included orthognathic surgery (bimaxillary osteotomies with advancement and transversal expansion of the maxilla), bilateral sinus floor elevation, local augmentation of the alveolar process and implants.

The upper central incisors were restored by composite resin. Bite raising was achieved by orthognatic surgery combined with implants and extrusion of posterior molars.
