08. Mounting of Transfer Copings.

The adapter screw (implant driver) on top of the implant is removed with the ‘0.9 hex’ screwdriver.

The transfer copings are placed into the implant instead and tightened with the ‘0.9 hex-driver’. The transfer copings can also be used as temporary ‘healing abutments’ if it is decided to postpone the impression procedure 2 weeks to allow healing of peri-implant mucosa before the impression procedure.

09. Bone augmentation.

The bone chips collected during osteotomy of mandibular ridge (02.) and during the drilling procedure is now used for bone augmentation. The bone defects adjacent to the implants in the lower canine regions were filled with autologous bone.
