04. The 2.0 mm twist drill.

The 2.0 mm twist drill is used to create the optimal axial alignment of the implants according to the level of lingual inclination of mandible. The use of direction indicators (paralleling pins) ensure a proper alignment. The drilling depth is 15 mm. During preparation with the twist drill the extent of cortical engagement and the density of bone is evaluated.

The drilling sequence of Frialoc trans gingival threaded implants is presented.
