Immediate provisionalisation with temporary infra-occlusal bridge. (Implant Stability Quotient (ISQ).
The XiVE TempBase as a temporary abutment:
The TempBase is dismounting to measure the Implant Stability Quotient (ISQ).
The ISQ values at the time of implant placement is compared with already recorded torque data (FRIOS Unit E). The ISQ values at follow up is measured to improve the decision-making: When can (how early after implant placement) the permanent bridge (full functional loading) be fabricated and delivered ? (see later).
Immediate after surgery the TempBase (alternative Protect abutment depending of ‘interocclusal’ distance) is used for immediate fabrication of temporary restoration:
Adjustment of height /mounting of abutment if Protect is used.
Prefabricated template, filled with ProTemp used for transitional bridge:
Adjustment of transitional bridge (lining and surface polished at abutment shoulder, approximal spaces opened, infraocclusion ect.)
