Round drill and use of surgical template to set up the preliminary placement and axial orientation of implants. Width & direction lingually of alveolar process controlled. Final placement, direction and size (diameter) of implants confirmed.
Drilling sequences and preparation of each implant site:
Recomended preparation depth according to bone quality for XiVE® :
|
|
|
Bone class D I:
6 mm |
Bone class D II:
4 - 6 mm |
Bone class D III:
2 - 4 mm |
Bone class D IV:
0 - 2 mm |
|
It is better to prepare the crestal section of the site too deeply than not deep enough. Even with the maximum crestal drill depth of 6 mm the implant generally has sufficient primary stability.
