Instructions

Radiographs showing the treatment.

Removal of roots and resection of apex 4+.

Two months of healing.

Sinus lift and mounting of bonegraft inlay/onlay.

Cases:

Removal of 6+.

Patient returning 1 year later.

Sinuslift with bonegraft.

5 month after the augmentation procedure - reentry to place an implant. Notice the integrated bonegraft.

6.5 mm / 15 mm implant placed with good primary stability. Notice the boneaugmentation obtained.

The free bone graft as onlay is prone to resorption. It is necessary to take this fact into consideration when planning the amount of bone needed for augmentation and planning when to place the implant in the augmented bone.

It is recommended to take an intraoral radiograph 4-5 month after augmentation to schedule the placement of implants with a proper timing.
