Big lateral cortical window

Adequate access to the inferior alveolar nerve is essential to avoid unnecessary trauma to the alveolar nerve during mobilization.

Peroperative view during implant placement and lateralization of the nerve. Note the big empty medullary space and the bicortical fixation of the inserted implant.

Peroperative view 6 month later during abutment operation. The lateral cortex restored.

Clinical photo two years postoperative.
