Preliminary diagnostic wax-ups



In this case a maxillary osteotomy combined with down grafting of the maxilla, intrusion and facial torque of the frontal segment was performed prior to the final orthodontic treatment.
By this procedure it was possible to level the occlusal curve, ajust the inclination of incisors and eliminate the deep bite.
The expansion of the lover dental arch and creations of precise space for forthcoming implant treatment were achieved by the orthodontic treatment postoperative.
Reconstruction of the alveolar process in the lower incisor region was later obtained by a local alveolar osteotomy and bone grafting.
