Dental-Oracle’s Patient Portal is an information centre for patients and other interested, presenting a comprehensive introduction to implant concepts and treatment options.
Patients will also be able to study e.g. emergency procedures and selected news articles.

As Dental-Oracle expands, patients will be able to find introductions to e.g. orthodontics and other specialised areas.

At present, this is what you will find at the Patient Portal:

• On-line patient information
Dental-Oracle’s on-line education modules give patients free access to interactive patient information slideshows explaining the latest techniques within implant dentistry. Patients will also be able to study risks, preparations prior to surgery and recommended aftercare.

• Chairside consultation aid
Dental-Oracle’s patient education modules can also be used as an explanatory consultation tool in your practice. Treatment concepts and options are graphically described in an illustrative mulitmedia presentation, which helps improve patient understanding of proposed treatment and case acceptance.

• Multimedia terminals
The patient education modules are also available on CD-ROM. This allows you to install the CD-ROM on a computer in your waiting room. You can also distribute the CD-ROM to patients who do not have Internet access but wish to have an introduction to implant dentistry and treatment options.
The CD-ROM can be personalised with your practice name and contact information.

• Emergency procedures
Correct emergency treatment is crucial to a successful end result. Dental-Oracle’s Emergency Procedure section provides patients with useful instructions on what to do in the case of an emergency.
