Carol has aplasia* of 11 teeth in the upper and lower jaw,

She is missing 5 teeth (4,2 +2,4,7) in the upper jaw.

*Aplasia = A congenital missing tooth germ.

A treatment with orthodontic braces is performed for one year to make room for 2 implants between the front teeth and the canines and to close the gap between the back teeth.

After the orthodontic treatment 2 implants are inserted to replace the missing front teeth (2+2). The back teeth are reconstructed with a bridge.
